| Administration history: | 1629 laut Bestallung vom 1. September durch Obrist Max Waldstein in Böhmen aufgestellt.
Von 1766—1806 hatte das Regiment einen Werbe-Rayon im oberrheinischen Kreis; 1781 erhielt es den ständigen Werbbezirk in Oberösterreich, Mühlviertel und Machland (später auch einen Teil des Hausruck-Viertels) mit der Stabs-Station Linz, dazu 1782 noch einen Aushilfsbezirk in Galizien (Sambor - Lemberg);
letzte Friedensgarnisonen: Melk (1807), St. Pölten (1808) in Niederösterreich.
1809 (1810) aufgelöst in Folge Abtretung des (letzten) Werbbezirks (ab 1807: Radom, Westgalizien); letzter Regimentsinhaber: Feldzeugmeister Leopold Graf Stain. |
